He holds a Master’s degree in Communication from the Ibero-American University (UIA) and has nearly 40 years of experience in journalism and strategic corporate and governmental communications.
He served as Director General of Communications and Public Relations at COFEPRIS for nine years, and later held the same position at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). At both institutions, he developed and implemented the General Communication Strategy and successfully managed crises.
